Blogspot is nice; tumblr is more of a social blogging site where people are always blogging and reblogging stuff;so your blogs easily get lost in the never ending stream. Blogspot though is like a more advanced Xanga

Wordpress is my personal choice. I'm using Joomla as the CMS for my blog now simply because I've grown accustom to it.

It depends on whatcapablilites you want your blog to have, but Blogger and Wordpress are about the best. Both are always evolving in one way or another.

Thanks for the replies. I am just wanting something simple and basic to post some pictures and a little writing. I am trying to decide between Wordpress and blogspot.

I love Tumblr. I've tried Blogspot and Wordpress but they are more for lengthy blog posts. Tumblr, I would say, is like Twitter. Short and sweet. The community loves pictures. Check mine out below.

Wordpress. I used to use Blogspot, but it was a bit of a pain in the rear - I heard they've made quite a bit of changes since I switched, though. In my opinion, if you want a professional look, go with Wordpress, if you want a random blog, go with Blogspot.

In my siggy is a link to my blog that is on Blogger. I've been with them for several years now but am down to just the one blog. I have had a couple of blogs on Wordpress too.
