Blooming

Found this plant along the Columbia River. Not sure what it is, but it looked interesting. It is desert out here, so this is what blooms out here this time of year :mrgreen: I know the stick in the foreground is kind of a distraction, but I like to take nature shots as they are, not modify the scene by moving things around. What do you think?

Interesting macro! The framing is a bit odd however. Would like to see it with a bit tighter crop
