Blue sunset in OKC.

Okay well not really a sunset, but it was shot with the sun setting at night. What do you do when you go to shoot at sunset and there are no clouds in the sky to give you that look? Well, I have heard people tell me to turn around, so that is what I did. Instead of setting up on the East side of OKC, I set up on the West side and shot from my sunrise location.

I also went different and shot it with an 85mm f/1.8 lens also.

That is a wonderful image. Not to be disrespectful to John, I really don't understand the electrical line thing. I never seen them until it was mentioned. Additionally, why is it not good?

In MY opinion, and my opinion only, there are a couple of issues: (1) they add an additional horizontal element which conflicts with the predominately vertical elements of the image; (2) they draw the eye quickly across the image; and, they're visually annoying!
