Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I was practicing this weekend and wanted to do a xmas shoot of my son but he had other plans. I think the wall reflected on his face giving that blue cast (not sure). Also does the picture look flat? If so, how do I correct it? I tried correcting the color cast in photoshop but I haven't figured it out. CC would be appreciated.

Okay, here's my version:

You're right, the image does have a strong blue cast as a result of the wall colour. To correct this, I used a colour control point in Nikon Capture; you could do the same thing in Photoshop by selecting the skin areas, creating a new layer and then using the Colour Balance tool (Image > Adjustments > Colour Balance) and moving the sliders until you get a skin tone that works. I also made a slight curves adjustment to improve the exposure of the skin tones. Because of the small size of the image, I didn't bother attempting to correct the blue in the eyes.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. I will have to play more with the Color Balance.
