The out of focus leaf in the first shot bugs me a little, but not nearly enough to stop me from loving the shot.
In the second shot I know the duck is a distraction from the model, but to me it was the element that really made the shot special. Unfortunately the duck was only passing by chance, and I wasn't able to capture the model in a more relaxed pose with the duck still there, but again it wasn't enough to make me scrap the shot.

a little too much OOF foreground for me, but I understand why you like it so much. good stuff as usual.

I really like the first one, even with the oof fg. Maybe a little too much contrast in the face for my liking, but I do like the overall tones and colors.

The second one, I'm just not sure of. It looks like she's sitting close to a ledge or bank and there is water to the right, so it makes me want to see more of the height of the drop and maybe more water. And I'm guessing the water is green due to all the reflections from the trees.

But overall, I'd be happy with these outcomes, very nice lighting.

#1 would have been absolutely brilliant....look at those eyes, and that expression...superb!...if her right arm wasn't cut off, and the whole lower right quadrant wasn't a weird color OOF blur thingy. For me, that one gets binned.

I actually like the duck in #2. i don't think it distracts from the prominence of the model at all, and actually adds a little character to the shot. Good DOF choice on this one.
definitely a keeper.

The duck isn't distracting to me, since he's out of focus and doesn't pop, you are still drawn to your beautiful model!

I agree, there is so much potential in that first shot and those elements just made it miss that mark. Even still though, I thought it was too good not to keep. The leaf adds a new element that I think is still flattering to the shot, just in a different way than what it would have been without it. I shot a few without the leaf too, but her expression and pose in those shots just didn't compare unfortunately.

Also, those eyes did not look that way before I edited the shot.

Only problem is that there was a large team involved. This is why I need to get more polished, because re-shooting would require getting the model, hair artist, makeup artist, wardrobe stylist and my two assistants orchestrated for another shoot. I would much rather just do an entirely different shoot and work harder to get it right. I've barely been shooting for 5 years, and I'm self taught. I've learned a lot, but there is just so much more that I have to learn that comes with a lot of time and experience that I just don't have yet.

It's really not that bad seriously. First shot seems to me like your personal style. There is nothing wrong as long as applied photography is concerned. The composition and setup in the second shot is probably worth re-looking into. However you didn't fail bringing me to keep looking closer at the area between her dress and legs

Forget about the duck unless you can talk to one lol

I definitely agree about the composition being a little off in the second shot. The duck though is something I really like.
