Boxing shoot???

I will be taking pics at a boxing event this weekend, and I'm not too sure of the etiquette. Anyone who does this stuff normally, what are the 'rules' regarding using flash?

My gues is that no flash will be allowed. Generally boxing rings are pretty well lit, with all the lights directly over the ring. If you are shooting ringside using anything form a wide to an 85mm works well, if you have to shoot from further back over the top rope, you're looking at a 300mm or longer.
