First time shooting a toddler other than my own. I had to get flat on the ground to get down to his level. Shot with a d750/24-120 and a single flashpoint evolve 200 through an umbrella. Critiques welcome— I’d like to improve.

Lovely images and all well taken, but be careful with the background as it would look better if the BG is clean and clear.

Cute overload on this lad. I'd probably lean toward #2 as the favorite. The only negatives in these are as Dave pointed out, the background isn't working, especially the big water tower and the light pole. The other thing might just be me, but all of them seem slightly off balance as cropped.

Thanks for the tips guys. I wasn’t really sure on the background either. The mom wanted the scoreboard in the shots and water tower in some of them (it’s kinda a land mark here). After thinking back over it there are 10 ways I could’ve worked that a bit better lol.
