Brand new to photography, and forums for that matter!!

Hello All,
I have always enjoyed taking pictures on my compact camera, but being a college student never had the funds to purchase my own DSLR. About 3 months ago I inherited a Canon Rebel Xsi, I have really enjoyed taking shots and am looking to get some feed back from experienced photographers. I have never been apart of a forum either so this is completely new territory to me. Is there a place that I can upload my photos for friendly critique? I read a post on HOW to do it, but i am not sure WHERE to do it. I am looking forward to contributing to the photography community and absorbing all the information I get from all of you like a sponge.
