Breaking Bad Finale Discussion

So where are all my Breaking Bad fans at? What are all of your predictions for the finale? I think Walt will end up dying, and I think Jesse will escape and have a happy ending somehow. As for Skylar, I don't think she will go to jail, but I can't see her coming out of this totally unscathed. She may die.

Well we already know that Walter went back and got that poison from his house in the beginning of the mid season. However how he's going to use it is a big question. I don't think there's going to be jail time for anyone. Walter will die of cancer no matter what, if we get to see it happen. Of course uncle Jack and his gang will not end up well, but Todd may have an interesting ending. I think the writers have been building this character for something big. May be he will be the next Heisenburg.

I was thinking that the M-60 was for the white power guys and that the Ricin was for Lydia. Who knows though, it really has been a good series too bad it will be done soon. Now I will have to find something new to watch. Or maybe the Ricin is for his old "buddies" at Grey Matter.

It's amazing that I started watching this since it first aired back in 2008. I was still a graduate student, now I teach in college! No I am not a Chemistry teacher!

2 months ago, stated watching the whole series from my son who had the show when he got back from Afghanistan. Hooked, hooked.
Ricin is for the Gray Matter couple who said he had nothing to do with the genius of the company. Walt doesn't do that attitude well.
the gun is for the Arryans. Somehow, Jesse lives on.
Walt finds a way to say goodbye in person to his family. It's what he is all about- family...( in a very strange kind of way )

can't wait for 'Better Call Saul' , what a bunch of characters could come out of that series!

I don’t see any way around Walt taking a dirt nap in the finale. As a character Walter White is completely spent; he’s lost absolutely everything. If he survives the episode, then that means his epilogue basically reads “Walt lives on for a while longer in exile, with absolutely nothing, as a shell of a human being, and soon dies of cancer”. It’s hard to imagine that being the answer.

I think there is a chance he will seek out Skylar to talk and end up rage-killing her, mostly for spilling the beans to Jr.

As for Walt’s cause of death, being killed by his sister-in-law or Jessie seems almost too obvious… maybe Jr. will do it.

That sounds like the ending in Godfather 2, Michael dies alone, not surrounded by any family which was the entirety of his life. Maybe Vince Gilligan is a fan? Mm mm, can't wait for finale.
