Bright ideas for a film photo essay of 10 prints?

I live in NYC. I was thinking about doing something different and creative, but it seems like everything in NYC has been photographed before by one person or another. Any bright ideas?

I was thinking abandoned buildings but it seems trespassing may be necessary for that.

I think for my next project I was going to start at dawn with a morning-esque picture and then have the following shots work there way to a sunset. Like, have a picture for each different part of the day.

Of course everything has been photographed. The idea is to create your own personal style. Bright ideas do not come from others. They come from within yourself.

Abandon buildings can be a great place to photograph. There may be trespassing issues, but it is a small price to pay. Even if you get caught.

Reminds me of a story i heard that a person got their garden gnome pinched from their yard - For ages they got postcards sent from the gnome from around Australia LOL

Try something you haven't done before of shot before. Be adventurous. Go somewhere new or you've never been. Explore. There are tons of possibilities. Shoot at night or early morning.

I'm getting myself excited. Maybe I might just do that tomorrow. Thats where photography gets fun.
