Bright Shoes

I guess people don't really care for shoe photography lol. Back to the drawing board.

Nice kicks!

The last shot works best for me because I can see the entire shoe. Would have been nice to get the silver swoosh in there, though. The colors are bright and eye catching. Very nice job on the color. Something about the shallow depth of field plus the close cropping does not work as well for me. My opinion is one or the other--close crop or shallow DOF, but not both because there is simply too much information lost, if that makes sense? Hope that helps!

I agree--love the colors, dislike the DoF.

I like the last one as well, the colors are amazing, too bad they arent running shoes or I'd be buying some.

I took more full shots w/o the play on light/dof. I only shared some of the more interesting shots I took, that aren't typical stock photography of shoes.

Here is an example of full shoe, full lighting.

You are in luck, I own these as well. FreeRun ver4.0. Although, its not VOLT like the shoes above, it's called atomic green (I think)/Midnight Blue

Linked b/c it's not my image lol

First and last ones work well IMHO althought I would have extended the red to the bottom in #1.

I would be afraid to wear it. Dont want to ruin it.

too late, already wore em on Saturday. Most comfortable court I've ever worn on the court. The material that the upper is made from is very easy to wipe off and clean, no worries here.

Not a bad idea, but without me cloning the red, would have been impossible with the way the lighting was set up in that one.

Shot one: watch the glare on the swoosh. I tend to favor very shallow DOF, but with a product like this, more shoe needs to be in focus. Overall lighting looks good, just that glare on the logo, which is easily fisxed with a slight tilt, or moving that light source slightly.

Shot two: Same thing on DOF, more shoe in focus.

shot three: I like the red background, but would like to see it full frame. The back of the shoe needs a kicker (no pun intended).

The full-lighting shot looks way too flat. The drama, edgy feeling of the first three far outweigh the fourth shot.

Overall, minor tweaks and these would ready for print.

Sean.. in HS and until I finished college, I could dunk. Not anymore :(. I think it was the fact I only weighed 150 lb back then. Still proud though.. hah..

Nice man...I'm 6'2 and have NEVER been able to dunk :/

@31, I'm debating on doing some workouts to get to that goal of mine.
