Brooklyns' first bday

Is just around the corner and her mom asked me to snap a few to have at her party . So there you have it .

On a bad side note , i was broken into while shooting this , I guess the saw me shooting the baby and figured I had something of value in my car . The did get away with a couple of speed lights and a bag of dirty laundry . LOL . Se la Vie . Any suggestions on some insurance for the rest of my gear ? Im sure it's ben hashed here somewhere !

Adorable pictures all over, my fav is number 8, I don't know why, guess it's because I have a sweet spot for B&W. Beautiful location too.

By the way, "c'est la vie" is the correct way to write it. I'm sorry for being that guy, but I had an instinctive urge. I'm sorry. sorry.

As for insuring your gear, if you have homeowners insurance you can add a specific rider to the policy for all your gear, and it's relatively inexpensive. I think mine is like $50 a year for over $12K in insurance. If you rent, you can get renters insurance and do the same thing. Sorry your gear got snagged..

I have a grand-niece named Brooklyn!

Adorable kid. My favorite is the one with the flip-flops and the parasol in the sand, and maybe the one with her sitting in the water. But I love the beach, so that's probably why I'm drawn to those.

Insurance: For reasons I won't get into, I didn't want my camera gear on my homeowner's policy so I have a separate policy for it through Hill & Usher; they have a specific photography insurance package available. I've not yet had to file a claim, but I've heard very good things about their response to claims.
