Brother and Sister Portrait

Would like to some C and C on this photo. I cropped it in a square because we have a very nice square frame that was passed down from my wife's grandparents that we would like to use.

I like square crops but not to sure if I cropped to tight. What do you think?

The sister is obviously the taller of the two. With that in mind, having brothers eyes level with sisters mouth would give a more pleasing positioning. Add to that some space between their cheeks would give less tension between the two. Having shoulders square to the lens is probably the least flattering pose. Female hands will look more appealing when they are not flat to the lens..... (right hand on the shoulder, left hand caressing his bicep).

The crop is fine for viewing online but might be a little tight if you wanted to get it framed.

light is soft....cropping square is as per your liking and suits as below is more dark...so full attention....Yes, the faces look too tight...she cud comfortably touch her chin near his temple, having a more diagonal face and brother's face is solidly right...thnx for sharing.
