Brother.

#1 is fine. Only way I could see "you" is if I'm super squinting and focus my mind on what you look like (I still havent looked).

#2 is fine as well. Just crop the top half out. Overexposed sky problem solved. I have no problem figure out what the subject is. I don't need to see the laces on his shoes for it to be a fine composed shot of your brother.

#3 is definitely pretty cool, but perhaps better served in color.

As for the entire SET - there are some in there I like significantly more than whats posted here.

Thanks manaheim. I didn't like #1 because it is a little too out of focus. And #2 I don't like how he is so centered.

Thanks to you too ANDS!. If you don't mind, can you tell me which ones out of the set you like better?

Those are a few that just pop up. Some have some "issues" with them of course, but seeing as these dont seem to be limited by model time (hes your brother) or locale issues (looks like your hometown) you can easily use these as "templates" and go back and make them gooderer. . .

I will say though on some of the "direct on" head shots, that a more "relaxed" natural pose/facial expression would be merited. What I would do is just get your brother talking, maybe about something that interests you two so its not just fake talk, and get the facial "flubs" - wrinkles in the face from laughing, cock-eye from a curious question, etc. Get some "action" and character in the face, instead of forced facial posing.

Sweet thanks!

Yea I was trying to get him to laugh and be more relaxed, but he is pretty shy around the camera :(. We're thinking about going out again and getting some more, but with film this time. Dunno.

Thanks again though.
