After the wing tip in the water it spun and landed in the other direction, maybe the wing acts as a rudder too.

I really like number one!
I just returned home from Sarasota Florida (for work) and I have to say I'm jealous of the amount of wildlife you guys have down there. I had eagles fly by me daily a mere 40 feet away. Not to mention a number of other birds that don't let me get close at all here in buffalo.
