So today I finally decided to try to get some shots of my pet budgies, as they're finally getting tame. Unfortunately... Kitten saw where I put the bribe and wouldn't stand still unless she was eating, and Artemis was terrified of the toys I tried to use as props, the cameras, and just really, REALLY wanted to snuggle in my hand. Which is great but not when I'm trying to photograph him.
#1 Kitten with her tasty millet.
#2
#3 Artemis "The toys are scary can I have your hand back now?"
I know the focus tends to be a little soft. I think part of that is that my glass isn't the best... Canon 18-55 kit lens. Part of it is 1) need better light and 2) need to work on steady hands. Or else break out my tripod.
So other than soft focus, what needs work? Thanks in advance.
