Buffer problem of D610

Does anyone has buffer problem when shooting sports photography using D610? I am so annoyed by the fact that I need to wait more than it usually takes to make another 6-7 shoots right after the buffer processes the picture.
And I missed the actions that the players have made on the playground. Does anyone has the same problem? If so how can I solve it....thanks

Well the D610 isn't exactly a sports camera... The only thing that may help is the type of SD cards you're using. Also if you're shooting RAW vs Jpeg.

Shooting 12-bit instead of 14-bit raws can speed things up, as well as turning off things like ADL, lens correction, etc.

I can get a 23-frame burst with my D600 doing this.

Transcend 64GB Class 10 SDXC Flash Memory Card (TS64GSDXC10E)


And I don't know much about RAW and Jp..e.. I guess RAW can give me a better resolution than Normal/ Fine format, right? Especially I stand really far from the Stadium. If not, do you have some suggestions...thanks

I know it sounds silly...but what is ADL and lens correction? if you can elaborate more...

Active D-Lighting. Used in scenes with a wide dynamic range.

Lens correction corrects distortion and vignetting of the image caused by the lens before the file is written to the card.

All this is in the manual that came with the camera.



Shooting raw won't give you any more detail. It merely gives you a wider lattitude when editing.
