Bumble bumble bumble bee

Went out to the first flowers blooming in my small town (crocus), took these with a D40 and a nikkor 50mm macro lens (old school)

It was really hard to get the head in focus but I did my best. You can even see the pollen on his back so I'm happy with these few.

I had tons of fun photoing this guy today.

Plankton, I really like these shots! I love the first one, I think the composition suites my tastes a bit more than the second one.
