Burrowing Owls

Went down to Florida to visit my girlfriend's dad, so of course I made some plans to sneak away to shoot. Marco Island was only half an hour from his house, and once I heard there were lots of Burrowing Owls around, I drove over there to look around before the Boston snow even melted off my shoes!

They were so fun to shoot! I was really hoping I'd get one out of it's burrow, but I didn't have much time to sneak out and shoot

I love owls... adorable creatures and great shots. They are giving you the stink eye though.... its like they know you are a northerner. LOL

Very nice set. They can be quite interesting to photograph, particularly if they have little ones around.
