Butterfly on a flower c&c welcome

I do not have a macro lens but I was on a walk with my kiddos and saw this butterfly and decided to give it a try. I only got off a couple shots (since I have kids, they scared it away) this was the best.View attachment 10229

The Flutterby was rather lost in your image. Now it is featured.

Also notice in your original, there is a circle formed by the pink flowers in the background. Because the central cone flowe is pink, your eye is lead to that circle in the background. Thus, taking the viewer away from the subject.

In my crop, incidentally, the background pink flowers form a triangle with the central flower, reinforcing the subject.
