Butterfly

Well, this is my first post. I'm anxious to get feedback from all of you.

This was taken a couple of weeks ago on the side of a road.

It will probably not be news to you that the leaves are overexposed and lack in colour and texture? So there ... you will be better next time.

I went out butterfly-"hunting" the other day and boy! are they fast! So you probably were lucky to get this one... but it is way small in this photo and could easily be overlooked. But don't I know how hard it is to get any closer? I could share my latest butterfly photo with you in this very thread, if you want me to, and you'd see what I mean. Not even my macro lens helped me in any way...

Thanks for the welcome. I was moving to fast to catch. It's not a common find so I was happy to get this shot off. I actually had my telephoto with macro on the camera but couldn't get close enough, quick enough. Would have loved to though. I know the leaves are overexposed, but kinda liked the effect in this shot so I posted it anyways. Feel free to share your photo, I love butterflys, of course I love just about anything in nature.
