Butterfly

Howdy all,

Well i just thought i would share my very first butterfly photo i've always wanted to get one but just never seems to happen. I wish it was a bit more colourful but oh well can't win them all.
I'll be getting my Nikon 105mm f/2.8D AF Micro soonish hopefully i can't wait.
Tell me what you all think.

Very nice detail around the eyes!
I would try cropping the bottom up a little higher than where the shallow dof stops.

Great shot. I really like the uncluttered background. However, I would agree with Woodsac and would crop the bottom where the twig is out of focus.

Ah, it is still here!
And still as beautiful as before the board crash.
Sorry that so many comments have now gone lost forever, but that does not diminish the simply beauty of this pic.

But I feel I best move it over to Landscape and Nature ... I think it does show "Nature" ... and at its best, don't you agree!?
