what i did was check online and did as much research i can... do u need a big memory space? whats ur spending budget? gonna do it for a business ? hobby? etc... i made a mistake i bought a nikond40 which is a entry level camera except i didnt read about the autofocus motor and the limited lenses i can put on my camera .. that cool u like photography .. good luck.. post up pics
