C&C Another Experiment

So I shot with a model for the third time today, I think the outcomes were fairly decent. Thoughts?

I'm assuming you were going for a dramatic feel to these....maybe? It kind of bothers me that you can't see her face clearly in most (if not all) shots and you definitely can't see her eyes at all.

The shadows on the wall don't do anything for the pictures IMO. The only one where I feel that the shadow might add to the shot is in #6. It looks cool the way she is posed with her shadow so clearly defined.

I get what you were going for in #3 pose-wise but it's not a very flattering shot. Not trying to be rude about the model but this pose makes her look heavier then she probably really is. Maybe is she was at more of an angle to the camera then straight on side shot - if that makes any sense at all.

#6 is my favorite. I wish there was a tad bit more light on her face but it still works IMO. She's gorgeous and I love her lips.

We were going for a heavy drama, with almost a faceless look. We wanted it to feel more mysterious, like hidden emotions.

The lighting setup was 3 alienbees 800s. One on each side, approximately 8 feet from the model. One with a 20 degree grid to highlight the face, the other with a softbox. There was also a beauty dish boomed 3 feet in front of her, and approximately 2 feet above her.

The white balance was set to tungsten with a warming gel on the beauty dish.
