C&C Anyone??

So, I friend and I went to the Short North in downtown Columbus to shoot some portraits of a friend, as well as do some night shots of the area. In the process we met this guy- I asked if I could get a photo or two and he said he didn't mind. I took two, and he posed, but they didn't work, so I asked for one more, but he didn't hear me and started talking to my friend, I snapped this photo as he was turning. I know it's blurry but I really like the genuine expression on his face. I also think that even though it was an accident, it really shows how animated he is.
Also, I know that this is a B&W gallery, but I'm just not sure which I prefer.
Any thoughts?

both look underexposed. I get what you're saying about the blur but it's a little too distracting. I think a tighter crop would work too. Did you do anything in pp? besides covert to b&w?

Yeah, I did. Let me try to bump the exposure a bit though. I'm sortof battling noise too, because of how dark it was. lol

I also sharpened it a bit. This time around, I added a little fill light and bumped the exposure quite a bit actually. Just waiting for it to upload to flickr.

Also, How would you suggest cropping it? I tinkered around for a few minutes but I just could find a crop that I liked.

I like the natural expression on his face, however the motion blur is quite distracting (particularly on his nose).

that looks a little better. I don't have LR at work or I'd give it a go. Do a tighter crop
