Is it like a rule the background needs to be blown if its white? I don't blow out my white backgrounds... I just brighten them in PP some. I really don't like the look of a glowing white-hot blown background... It just doesn't look good IMO. Maybe its just a high key thing? Anyways how are these?

Im on my laptop and I see a wierd pattern pixelation to the background. That's the best I can explain it. Anyone else see it? I don't see it on my desktop. I brightened up the background with the brighten/contrast layer mask when i usually do it with curves. Back to the editing room.... :er:

There are blown spots on the babies gown camera right that causes parts to disappear into the background.

Yes i tried to fix it but its the best I can do. Its hard with white sometimes...for me anyways

I "Awwww'd" then went squeaked a little bit when I saw the last one. Good job.

My wife thought I saw some boobs. Don't tell her it was a baby picture.

awww LOL!

does anyone else see the white background is really funky? Or is it just my computer??

Again with the Beginners's question? You are a 'fessional, right? Don't you know the difference between high key and blown out? One does not equate with the other. One has detail, the other is amateur and making excuses.

someone REALLY needs to help you out of your misery.... LOL

My laptop monitor isn't calibrated, but it looks fine to me (a 15" Glossy Macbook Pro screen).

I have a mac desktop and they look fine on there. Its everytime i come to my laptop (HP) things look like crap!

Oh and what are you talking about? With high key... backgrounds are completely blown. I was asking if its just a high key thing to have a background blown? Anyways you are on ignore. Not really but talking to you is just a waste of valuable time :)

Well, they look pretty good to me, only point that has already been made, you do have to watch for situations where the outfits bleed/blend into the background...despite that, I really like number 3.

Cheers,

Sorry again Sabrina, but talking to me is in actuality, is a dose of reality. Your statement of "With high key... backgrounds are completely blown." shows your ignorance. I don't mean that in a derogative nature, but again, showing that you are not where you think you are. In a high key image .... NOTHING IS BLOWN OUT!

Truely, I am near the end of my rope in thinking that I am wasting my time here. But you're too much fun.
