Pic #1 is a winner, the composition is pretty good and the baby makes it all ok no matter what!. If you dont want to have to use photoshop to lighten shadows, try using your flash as a fill flash to lighten the shadows when you are taking the picture. It might take a little practice or experimenting, but will save you time in the long run
