Welcome to the forum! There are some nice colours there and it seems (to me at least) to be well exposed. What I would say is that you need a lead in line. There isn't enough foreground there, although I can see evidence of a path. If you zoomed out some, and perhaps shot in portrait orientation, you would have the makings of a good shot. What settings did you use?

Thanks for the feedback. The picture did not really turn out the way I wanted it too. One it was windy and lots of overcast. I wanted the focal point to be further down the path. My inexperance prevented that. This picture was taken in auto with basic scenery settings that the camera provides. I did basic post editing in picasa to enhance the colors a bit more. Even though it did not turn out the way I envisioned it I thought it was kinda neat. I plan on learning the basics of photography to take my photos to the next level. I just wanted some third party opinion on this photo.

I'm no pro, so don't take anything I say for gospel...I'll only offer my opinion as just that...an opinion.

I like the shot, overall. The colors are nice, exposure seems to be good, and the framing is not bad. I'd differ from 'thereyougo's comment in that I think the landscape composition works here...but I would have cropped it a bit, past the distracting leaves in the upper-left of the picture. But I don't think it's too bad at all...for my taste.

On a semi-related note...overcast days are GREAT for shooting outdoors. Evenly distributed light, and no shadows. Well, no shadows as a direct result of the sun.

Thank you. I agree that the leaves were a little distracting so I have added the same shot but cropped. I also figured out how to post the pic in the OP. Please any feed back would be great good or bad.

Thanks
