Is my post processing a little bit overboard and is it appropriate for the subject? Do you feel anything on the shots taken? I would like to explore more on this genre and comments would be appreciated since it would help me grow a lot. I've been into photography for over a month now and I'm loving it!

The post processing doesn't do it for me, but I've never been one to like B&W photography except under certain conditions. I'd be interested to see them in color. It's hard to tell, but it looks like the horizon is crooked in the first one. (or did you use a fish eye lens)

looks like a fisheye,or extreme wide angle on the tope one,but the bottom one needs to be straightend.and i love B&W but these arent complimenting the shots, take out the colours and they would be alot nicer :)

I don't care for the processing on either one. Composition wise, I don't see anything really interesting on either. The first shot has some type of roof/post on the right of the frame....very distracting and says to me "snapshot". It also looks like it's tilted. The second one has some potential. Maybe getting closer to that "house" and include some of the water?

Why are you shooting at f/3.5? The first one was shot @ ISO 400, f/3.5 and 1/4000. Was it really that windy...LOL? Next time try shooting at f/8 to f/16. Your pictures will be sharper.

Thanks for the comments guys. The first one i stitched it through CS5's panorama option. I didn't notice the crooked horizon on the right till you mentioned it. And I thought the roof was appealing lol! The second one I personally like the best. Shot was taken at apperture priority.

So question, is it wiser to shoot at manual mode, Av, Tv for landscape photography?

Again, your comments are treasures for me! Thanks!

For me, I use manual. If I'm shooting wildlife, I may use Av, but generally I prefer manual.

Myself, I mostly use AV, unless I'm using flash, or in a sticky situation.
