Not really sold on any of them. BUT.. I do really like the PP effects you put on #4. That effect could very well improve some of the others you posted, along with some additional crop work.

I'd like #4 if her face wasn't covered up.

Center weighted imagery. Good exposures. Nice focus. But. Every image is dead center the frame. I think the pictures are good. I also think they could gain from better composition. Little warm on the first one. Little cool on the second.

Rule of thirds... look it up. You don't want your subjects dead center. Makes for a bad composition. I think these shots are great and all you need to do is some cropping then they would be awesome. #4 is totally cute. I like the processing.. but I cant tell if its synch speed issues or your pp work.

Lol ok well this is funny cause I actually love usingg rule of 3rds but people always say my stuff needs to be more centered. Thank you. Probably my pp. I need to get better at that. Photoshop is my biggest weakness imo.

Well, when "your stuff" is a person, and you mean to take portraits, you should NOT listen to peoples' advice to put "your stuff more centred". It gives your otherwise good photos (and they are ok, apart from their composition) a sense of "snapshottish", I'm afraid. And you don't want THAT to happen to your photography, I assume, not with THAT camera you use... !!!

Could I asked what you did when you PP'd? I really want to know for myself :3

I like #3 the best. Maybe a little more work on making the image a little brighter, would make it stand out more. 1, 2, and 3 could def go through a little cropping.

1, 2 4, and 5 I get this stange feeling she's on the ground with that rock background so these positions seemed strangely awkward. I know its an illusion. I do like the editing but 3,4 and 5 seem underexposed to me and a flash could've helped.

Here's a suggestion... Next time you're shooting, shoot it where your first instinct says, then purposely move the subject to a different part of the view and change your angle to looking down on it or up to it and shoot it again. When you download the images look at them side by side. That will give you some real insight as to how different perspectives and composition can really alter your images.

Great tip, one I plan on using, thank you...

They have great potential. But they need the right crop so that they "pop". The girl leaning against the left wall needs to get rid of some of the wall on the left for example. The purple is nice but it might pop better if cropped out. Play around with the crop centering and size until they all "pop"

Why do you have such sever vignetting? Light fall off? 50mm lens with 2 filters stacked? Post processing?

I also see perhaps the best tip you will get on this forum. You have a tendency to place the eyes near center at the expense of a better composition. Don't make that mistake. All your shots show that something was sacrificed to sort of keep the eyes from getting too far away from the center. all the photos are lacking subject matter at the bottom because of this. The second and the last one especially reveals this where her fingertips are almost visually snipped off for no good reason.

With the proper crop these photos will be awesome.

Two words - fill light (or supplimental light).

She has racoon eyes in a couple of the shots, like the first one and the last one.

I think having the subject 6 to 10 feet from the wall would have allowed you to separate her from the background lighting wise, which is a more accepted definition of 'pop'.

Oh, 1st and last should also have been made in the vertical (portrait) orientation IMO.

Why not use the stone wall more creatively?

Have her step away from it so that it can be blurred. Click

Change your position so the wall is a secondary subject. Click

Just a thought.

EDIT:
Meant to add, she is lovely.
And Keith is right about adding some fill.

I did do that. Thank you though. I was having focusing problems so the shots not center weighted came out a little soft around the edges :(
