Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
A picture I took of my daughter and my nephew over the holiday. I am pretty good with Lightroom but I haven't really tackled PS yet. Is there anyway to smooth my daughters lips out a little?

You can use the healing tool to get rid of some of the creases/red spots in her lips. Icon looks like a bandaid in photoshop. Just play around with it, it's not a hard tool to use. It's also pretty warm and soft.. I'd adjust your white balance too, and sharpen it up.

You can do some smoothing in Lightroom. Easier in Photoshop? Probably, but I don't own Photoshop, so I couldn't say for sure. In LR, play around with the Adjustments Brush. Depending on what version of LR your using, there may be a skin smoothing option in the Adjustments Brush.

Should be there for you to try out. Make sure your in develop module, click on the Adjustment Brush, and in the panel that opens, you'll see something that says "Effect". There will be a menu beside that, click on it, and a few options will be there, one of them being skin softening. Give it a try to see if it will work on those lips.

Get on youtube and look up photoshop tutorials on healing and cloning tools.

Or even Google

LR3 has some good basic editing options like the skin softening and teeth whitening brushes so that I hardly go in PS any longer unless I need some major editing or trying to do something a little more outrageous with my pictures. It may take a minute to get used to the way LR3 heals and clones if you have done it before with PS but it's a pretty small learning curve.
