What color should the cookies be? Unless you wanted them to be that orange they seem to be a bit too much for my taste.

They look quite orange due to your first impression of the un-saturated cookies. They actually are about that colour. The second picture also looks a bit overdone, but I think it's due to the fact that you're used to the first image.

Though, perhaps, the second one is overdone anyway But I keep returning to that I like it

I like what you did with both. Color may be off in the cookies, like posted above, but I don't think that takes anything away from the richness of the shot. 2 is really nice!

The snow shot edit looks outstanding. Very real. SNowy scenes often look blah, as did the original. I love the rendering on the sky!
