The magic is in the original picture You have to have somehting great to start with in order have something to work with. Looking at the edited ones in no time you will be knowing how to get it close to that way straight out of the camera.
Your pictures that I have edited are better than any of the pictures I have taken - so you're off to a VERY good start.

Kathi did a great job on that edit.
I love the practice so I edited the shot of your hubby and son.
Lightened his rosey cheeks a little, then softened them. That makes the rosey and regular skin tone transition gradual.

I like what you did, except now their faces look a little barbie-esque now. Almost too plastic looking. The color is good though.
