I dig the lighting and agree with Derrell about cropping some of the dead space out.

I can try to soften it, she definitely does not have any stretch marks, she has always been tiny and has no babies

That's just the texture of the skin. That tends to show up when you use harder lighting and/or side lighting. Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's something that you/they might not want in the photo.

If you do plan to shoot 'glamor' type shots, it would probably be beneficial to learn & use a good skin processing technique. Doing it well, can be fairly advanced...at least it will probably take some time & practice to find what works best for your tastes. So it makes sense to start practicing that, along with your lighting, posing etc.

I had a look at the shots on your Flickr. Some good work. I like that you are using a back light, it adds a nice touch & and some separation to the dark background shots.

Misscream I like the lighting. Having her arms pressed against her body that way makes them look bigger then they are. Maybe have her hands cup her chest instead that way her arms are away from the body(That would also help your view count =P). Also maybe have her relax her jaws, looks a little clinched.

Nonetheless good effort. Very challenging get a naked model in a relaxed state. My lady photographer friend told me one time that she went topless along with the model to break the ice. =)

That actually sounds like a good way to handle that situation. Would have been interesting to see that shoot from a 3rd person perspective :lmao:
