C&C: Orchids

Orchids, lit by window light. C&C would be great!

I don't think the first one has enough subject matter in it, but that is personal taste.

The second one is quite nice. I'm not sure how I feel about the brown that is bleeding into the background though. Also I'm assuming the flowers are white, but in the second one they are taking an a brown/ beige hue.

Yeah, both photos are of the same flower, the colour difference being a result of different pp techiques. I was wondering if the first was too empty - might try a tighter square crop... I like the colour of the second one, it seems subtl enough on my screen... i also have a black & white one.
