I really don't want to discourage you because you are giving it effort.

This one is better.
Better composition.

BUT, the crop is bad, her feet and left arm are are cut off, the hand goes off into the haystack making it look a little weird.

DEFINITELY need a fill flash or reflector here, she is compleatly dark and do you see how the shade and sun are making a long across her legs?
Another option would be to shade that part and then use an indirect / diffused / bounced flash.

I agree with the harsh shadow. she was sitting under a covered patio. Dont worry about it man this is good learning for me. I want to correct it now so when I ask to shoot her again they will be better. Looking at this one should have used something to light her face?

Better in the way that it is more equal.

In this case I would have use a reflector (or a white sheet).
The finger shadows is quite distracting.

I would have recomposed this, I'm afraid I'm going to have to site the rule of thirds.

Our teacher was suppose to bring all of his gear but he had it stolen the night before at wedding he was doing. They took over 10 grand in equpiment. Im going to shoot a family portait for a co worker so hopefully that will be better
