Here you go, a chance to hurt my feelings by telling me how ugly my kids are.

Please feel free to C&C these. I'm trying different things with what I have handy in the house.

There are lit by one strobe, and I attempted to bounce back with a white reflector. It helped a little, but certianly not a lot.

any help is appreciated!

They look pretty darn good to me, well done!

Ummmmm....look good to me too. I love my dog kid very, very much. I took pictures of her last night and hubby said take another, she just moved.

What cute kids! 3 is my pick, like them all!

Not that I know much, but there's not much that I can see wrong with the photography, and the dogs, well, the dogs are just gorgeous. Beautiful animals.

what are you using to keep their attention? They seem focused on something

It looks like your kids are much more well-behaved when taking pictures than mine!

Beggin' strips. It's their flavorite.

Well behaved? Only when treats are involved. The big one got tired of getting flashed after a while and stopped cooperating, but I'm sure he will forget all about it by tonight's session.

I'm not sure how much help the white reflector was. I'm going to try it again tonight with the silver reflector, and try to get both sides of the face in frame so the result is actually visible. Should make for an interesting experiment. The one side is lit, but the other is iffy.

I like the second one the most. Why did you make the photos like this with a black background? I like the second the most because of the dogs expression with its character and the dog itself being black with brown. I like the colors beter.

It's actually a really dark blue bedsheet. It's the only solid colored object big enough to use as a back drop within arms reach. When I win the lottery I will buy a prober backdrop kit (for $85 from Ebay ) but until then, I have to be penny-pinchingly creative.

It worked pretty wll for little tan dog, but for bigger black dog, not so much.

(Yes, that's their names. Little Tan Dog and Bigger Black Dog.)
