C & C please?

I'm not by any means a pro but this is my 2 cents:
First image little guys skin has yellow tones too it.
Second, a little too much light. He looks white and almost washed out.
Third is my favourite. I would just zoom out or pan down a touch to include all of her arm/ hand. You've (in my eyes) really nailed a soft tone in this image. Great work!

Thanks for the reply! I will open these up and try to drop the brightness some. I think I did that on purpose. lmao Good to know it makes them look blown. I appreciate the feedback. :)

Oh and for the record, these are my kiddos. I am obviously no pro. ;) lol Just trying to get better.

I'd be happy with the first two if they were my shots. Tack sharp on the eyes, nice soft directional light, nice color. The first one seems a bit underexposed and the second one, while bright, looks good, but this monitor isn't calibrated. I do see the yellow skin that Miss referred to. The third is sharp as well, but the primary light source coming from the camera doesn't work here for me... it's too hard. Throw on a diffuser and elevate it a bit and it might work very well.

Thank you, Bazooka. The light source for all 3 was the window in my son's room. Perhaps I could soften #3 up a bit in CS5? I will work on his yellowness, too. I honestly believe it is from all the carrots he has been eating lately, but that's what we have editing software for. lol Thanks again for the input! I am loving all the good info on this site. All I hear from family is how good my shots are, but that is b/c they love my kids. Nothing like biased critiques. ;) Anyhow, that was long winded for "I appreciate the honesty".

I would like say that, great work. However, you have to learn about photography techniques just like picture sharpness, colors and light setting.
