I was in my garage today thinking I should really fix this window at some point then thought it may make a good photo

yea they're really soft. what settings did you use?

I think I took these with the auto macro mode which I know I should start using the manual settings.

Yea start using some of the manual modes. This way you can select your own focus points.

What did you take these pictures with? It either is caused by a small sensor or to high the f number, because focus is correct.
