Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I'm still less than 7,500 shutter clicks into my photo career and would appreciate any advice on the following 2 pictures:

My goal was to make something worthy of being hung on a wall in my new place. I'm happy with how they turned out I just want to get some feedback before I go order prints. Anything is helpful...

Also, which is your favorite??

Very beautiful, very worthy of being hung on the wall. I think the added color and drama in the sky in the second one is better. The symmetry and color and balance work very nicely. If it were mine, and this is just me, I would remove the boat and structure above the boulder, but I realize this could be tricky. For me, I like no man made objects. Very nice nevertheless.

Great exposure of the skies. The landscape portions are under exposed.

You can easily correctly expose both by making 2 exposures that you subsequently, and fairly easily, blend together post process.

What he^ said. but I think the clouds in the second one are rather distracting

I like them both. Here is a little tweak of the first one similar to what KmH suggested. Its a very minor adjustment given that I do not have the Hi res file. I lightened it slightly, added some contrast and I also removed a little of the blue haze from the mountain.

#1 feels off-balance with the rock on the same side as the mountain, I prefer the rock more to the right, as in #2. I don't mind the clouds in #2 at all, I don't think they make it look too busy with the rock balancing the scene out.

I would chose photo 2 as well because I prefer the composition and the lighting. I really like photo 2 and, if I had taken it, I would definitely frame it

Agreed! The composition seems better to me. The rock up so close on the same side as the mountain kind of threw me off in the first one. Great photos though! Only wish there was great landscapes like these in Delaware... haha.
