Camera backpack

Hello,
I recently purchased 70-200 2.8 lens and my previous camera bag is kinda too small for the equipment I have now.Im looking to buy a new bag/backpack.The problem is I dont really know what Im going for,I havent yet find any field in photography that I would specifically like to shoot.I enjoy shooting animals,street photography,portraits,events,long exposure..well,I kinda like all of it so I dont know if I should go with backpack or a bag around the shoulder.Im not looking for something too big,what I want to fit in the bag is 70-200,18-55,50 1.8 g,flash(about to get one),and some general items like extra bat,memory card,wireless triggers for flash and remote control.Help me choose please

I have a bag collection. The bags I like best and use most are Lowepro Stealth Reporter bags, I have the 100, 300 and 400 models. The 400 is deep enough to hold a 70-200 with the body on it, leaving room for a flash and 3 other lenses plus batteries, cards, blower bulb, glasses, filters, etc. I don't know if you can still get that bag. It is fairly compact, so more suitable to run into a restaurant with than a photo backpack. For a day at the beach, a backpack might be easier to carry as weight is more evenly distributed. One I really like is a Kata Bumblebee, it has a metal frame which keeps the bag off my back and that keeps my back drier. I also have backpacks made by Lowepro, Tenba, and Tamrac. All have good features for different circumstances.

There are many, many, bags on the market. Something for everyone. What you carry, where and how you work, all affect the choice of bag.

I use a Thinktank Urban Disguise 60. It resembles your typical business bag and easily holds my D800, 28-70mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8 and 18-35mm...one lens mounted...even the 70-200mm. Plus lots of extra misc filter etc storage.

For carrying stuff to and fro I'm a big fan of Tamrac's Zuma 5:

The thing I really like about Tamrac is the MAS system - if I need a little extra storage I can add an external lens case or pouch to the bag, when I get where I'm going I can detach it from the bag and hang it off my belt, etc - works fantastic. Gives me a lot of carrying options and really makes the whole system very flexible. The bag is big enough for my D7100 with the 70-200 mm mounted, the 50 and 85 mm 1.8's, both my teleconverters, the 70-300 mm and I still have a bit of room to spare, and if I need too I can slap an external lens case or pouch on and carry even more.

It also allows me to carry my tablet with me, so it really has been a great bag.

Lowepro, Tenba and Think Tank all have add on pouches and lens cases too. Usually I add on a water bottle carrier and a case to hold sunglasses in their case, but I also have small and large lens cases. They are handy to have and relatively inexpensive.

I have a case logic backpack. There are some nice features I like about it. One, is the rubber base. When it first came in the mail, I was a bit disappointed with it (the rubber base) but after setting it down on wet ground, it has been a nice feature.

I own a case logic as well and I really love that rubber base,its a good protection overall! I will have to look into all the suggestions but so far considering the price lowepro 200 and this case logic seem to be in my top choices.
I must say Im very new to this forum but the support you guys are giving is amazing,big thumbs up for TPF crew!

I'm a huge fan of ThinkTankPhoto products. They're kind if pricey but the quality is awesome and the customer service is amazing. They cater to professionals but they still keep the company size pretty small.

I just got back from a two week Alaskan vacation and used this Pelican backpack. I put it through airports, all kinds of wilderness excursions and all kinds of weather. It kept my Sony A99 along with three lenses, binoculars and accessories safe, dry and organized. IMO you will not beat Pelican for toughness and protection. It's also very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

Hence the VAT and prices in my country I tried finding a backpack in my hometown,unfortunately there is no brand new to chose from,luckily enough I found a lowepro 300 used one for around 100$.Im aware that price directly from the supplier is 106$ but If I include VAT + the thing at the border Id end up paying around 170$,Im about to go and see the backpack,If its worth buying Ill get it.Thanks everyone for the help and effort put to find a decent one,really appreciated.
