Ok the only nikons i have experinc with are the D2h, D70, and a freinds D40. I own all canons currently i have a 40D. Personally i hate the feel of the low end nikons. I played with the D300 at circut city a while ago. Personaly i like the feel of canon over nikon. Both brands do the same thing. It just like are you a ford, or chevy guy its all personal choice on which one you want. I would say go with the canon just because thats my fav.
