Camera options

I am considering purchasing a new DSLR camera, and wondering which one I should get?
I am a Nikon user......I want either the D300 or the D700....
Any suggestions for me???

Well if you have the money go with the d700 it is far superior to the d300. But if you are limited on money go with the d300 and buy some very nice glass. Both are excellent cameras but the d700 is fx so that range of the lens is what you get. Let me know what you decide!
