Cameras - what do they attract?

The title says it all - after a recent thread showed conflicting claims we need to find the firm answer as to what cameras (ergo being a photographer) attracts!

Yep, I agree with CowgirlMama--you can scratch guys off that list.
Although, I don't know--cameras themselves DO seem to attract guys...so...Cr*p, that means maybe it's what is WITH the camera that is chasing them off. :lmao:

I also haven't noticed an increase in the bacon supply in my home--a fact which saddens me way more than the guy thing.

I'm going with Dragons. I haven't actually SEEN 'em, but I know they're there.
And bugs. My camera seems to attract a LOT of bugs; really close-up ones.

Mine attracts shi**y photos.

Mine doesn't attract much, usually. Take out the tripod, tho, and everyone trots over to see what I'm shooting. Even cows. Set up your tripod and camera next to a field of cows, and then thing you know, they're all on the other side of the fence mooing and giving you googly eyes. Haven't yet had the opportunity to try it with pigs, so my vote for "bacon" is a bit speculative.

For me, it attracts both genders, enthusiasts, home owners, independent/freelance/professional photographers/videographers, cute girls, and bratty little kids that think they know everything
