Campsite

Took a quick shot of the campsite.

Is there something in this picture to work with and make it a good photo ? I was trying to work with the trees and get some lines out of it.

I like the trees but the road in the left foreground is a bit "urban" for the vibe I think I would prefer.

Agree with Peeb, the road is a a killer in this image.

Clone some of the gold grass onto the road, and free crop the rest of road out.

The trees are not "linear" enough to be much help.

Human interest always helps. Need not be a person's face.

Move in close on the tent, even if you're cutting off part of it.

The red chairs should have their own photo, maybe placed near a tree or something?

Show details of "domestic" activity, such as cooking or eating.

Just an opinion. I utilized some of Designer's suggestions. Rotated the image and used a 16x9 crop to get rid of part of the road. Cloned out the post and the remainder of the road. Added a few processing edits to help the contrast and details. The trees now become curved repetitive patterns that frame the campsite.
