Can i ask tips on how to make kids smile on a photoshoot?

I've done a few kid shoots... I had a pair of brothers that were hard to crack, finally offered them a dollar (in quarters to seem like alot of money) and told them that if they were good & smiled big, that they were going to earn a dollar each... Won them over immediately.
