Can I do this without a release?

Took some shots at a motocross and want to use one of them as a display of my work - I have no idea who these riders are, nor where I can find them again, but the next event I'm going to is another motocross in the same area. I have a board with the same picture, different sizes up in my booth.. Can I display that picture, advertising my work, without a release from the riders? (It's just possible they might recognize themselves.. but not likely)

You do not need a model release.
