Can I use Pocketwizard Mini as remote camera trigger?

I was going to order the cable to connect the Flex TT5 to the camera to remotely trigger it with the mini, but now I'm wondering if you can only trigger the camera to take a photo with the Pocketwizard Plus II. Does anyone know for sure if I can trigger the camera to take a photo wirelessly using the mini as my transmitter and the Flex TT5 as the receiver connected to the camera? Thanks,
