Can others edit my Photos

I recently bought a 2nd hand Tamron 70-300mm. Since I just saw the ad while I was working, I immediately grabbed the lens since it was (1) on a bargain price (2) very near my place of work. My camera was not with me so I did not try it.

I saw this. Can you help me identify the problem of this lens?

Looks like the rear mount is missing. Is it one of Tamron's adapt-a-matic range? I know the adaptall & adaptall2 ranges don't look like that - they take bayonet mounted adapters.

It looks like there wasn't a 70-300 in the adapt-a-matic range so not that.
I guess it's a case of part of the lens missing.

So what is the issue? It won't mount to the camera? The images are blurry?

It look like this is the front of the lens. I see no aperture linkage and I see what looks like filter threads.

ETA: Now that I've had a chance to see the OPs image on my desktop instead of my phone:

This cannot be the camera end of the lens. NO LENS is going to have an element that huge on the exit end.
