If it's candy, I'm not too sure about the flavor. Minty? Stawberry? Maybe a banana undertone? As an image, pretty well composed. And in its structure, I seem to see some echoes of Bitter...

No. I woudn't say that. Our work crosses paths often. In fact, my stuff was once much more similar to his, well before I had the pleasure of knowing him.

I've explored these types of compositions, so obviously I like what's going on. As stated, have you considered bumping it up?

So how sweet would it had been if the contrail angle matched? I'd consider shopping it out.

Go for it. Pretty sure I won't like it. I NEVER liked contrasty stuff, ever. My favorite slide film was SENSIA - and that was in the height of the velvia craze.

I restrained myself! Personally, I'd push the contrast even harder, but I thought maybe just this much for starters would be less of a shock -- don't want to give you a seizure. And I think it's a superb photo.

Very cropped, and PC'd, not very well, I might add. I'm not so great at PC .. at least not without a view camera...

I like some elements, but very much not others. I really don't like the shadows. But, I'll agree, the whites and greens in the peppermints could use a boost to balance out the strawberry. I will work on this tomorrow...
